About the Doctor

A cardiologist who trained where Kolkata's toughest cases land.

Dr. Suvendu Chattopadhyay completed his MBBS from West Bengal University of Health Sciences in 2012, a DNB in Respiratory Medicine in 2017, and his DM in Cardiology from WBUHS in 2020. He served as Senior Resident in the Department of Cardiology at IPGMER & SSKM Hospital, one of Eastern India's busiest tertiary-care centres, before going on to consult at Charnock Hospital and AMRI Hospitals, Salt Lake. His dual training in cardiology and pulmonary medicine allows him to evaluate chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations and syncope with a wider clinical lens than a single-specialty approach allows.
